With over 15 years in the surfacing industry, working side by side with manufacturers, distributors and fabricators, the team at Artisan has accumulated a wealth of invaluable knowledge and experience which has helped shape who we are today. Turning experience into application by authoring several fabrication manuals, and even aiding in re-vitalizing failing companies, we have garnered a unique perspective on the surfacing market that defines how we do business....listening to our customers. This has been the key to our success and what we promise to continue to deliver at Artisan Adhesive.
With this client-oriented mind set, it was just a matter of time before the founders of Artisan took notice of an opportunity in the surfacing adhesive segment that would add tremendous value to fabricators nationwide. While surface material dropped in price and fabrication projects became more scarce, it was clear that fabricators where looking for ways to reduce costs and better their bottom line. Plain and simple, most fabricators were paying too much for their adhesive supply. Driven by the idea of providing a lower cost solution without sacrificing quality, Artisan Adhesive was born.
Not only was the goal to reduce price and maintain quality but it was also our vision to build a company on the voices of its fabricators. And that's exactly what we set out to do. After surveying, questioning and interviewing fabricators nationwide, the response was unanimous. Price, quality and simplicity were consistently what you asked for.
You spoke and we listened. In its simplistic design, Artisan Adhesive's smarter, simple approach incorporates the reduction of unneeded costs to lower price instead of reducing the quality of the product. Our number one priority is quality. We understand adhsesive performance is paramount for fabricators. That's why we are committed to providing all our customers the very best.
Since we are the manufacturer and sell directly to fabricators, all middle-men and 3rd party distributors and retailers have been removed, eliminating inflated margins and allowing us to significantly lower your cost. Still not satisfied with the amount of savings fabricators could enjoy, the creation of our stream lined, best-selling 25 color palette completed the puzzle. Our extensive research and experience revealed a product "sweet spot” in the surfacing industry. Surprisingly the same 25 colors consistently generate upwards of 90% of sales. Why hold over 100 colors in inventory when most fabricators only use a fraction of the colors that are offered. The problem with having over 100 colors in inventory is that many of the unused colors have to be discarded when the shelf life expires, costing other manufactures thousands of dollars. By eliminating costs associated with excess inventory of unwanted colors, Artisan Adhesive provides fabricators with the right colors at a the right price. We pass on the savings and not the cost.
That same idea of simplicity translates to the customer experience as well. Fabricators wanted a faster, more convenient purchasing experience than their usual methods of ordering by phone or fax. Artisan responded by creating an online order system to make it easier for our customers to pick, click and buy. And with the every order, you have of the peace of mind knowing that two free tips are included with every tube and absolutely no additional charges for assorted colors or for anything else.
